We’ve built engaging and intuitive tools (including a super cool, real programming language called KidScript) to make learning to code approachable, fun, and rewarding.

Our curriculum is designed for kids as young as 6 and introduces all the foundations of computer programming while incorporating creativity, design principles, and mechanics.

Our fully interactive studio is packed with cutting-edge technology ranging from robot arms to 3D printers to concert lights. The studio offers after school and weekend classes as well as camps.

Class Structure

Codeverse offers daily after-school and weekend coding sessions for kids from 1st through 8th grade. Each 75-minute session offers kids coding opportunities in KidScript using iPads and iMacs as well as interaction with studio tech and robotics. Kids learn through exploring missions (tutorials) as well as building open-ended projects and games.

During sessions, instructors act as crew members that guide and motivate kids to immerse themselves in the Codeverse curriculum. Instructors have real-time visibility into the work of each student to help engage students based on their unique learning style and pace.

Camp Structure

Codeverse offers weeklong camp sessions all summer and throughout school year breaks for kids from 1st to 8th grade. Much like the classes, the camps are meant to introduce kids to the concepts of coding as well as give them an opportunity to explore the tech in the studio. Camps run from 9AM to 3PM with additional early drop-off and late pick-up hours. Each camp session has up to 30 kids.

What You’ll Do

We’re looking to hire the absolute best kind of people to join our team and be the face of our studio. We want to ensure that anyone who walks into our studio has an extremely positive experience whether they are a first-time customer or someone who has been coming for months.

In this role, you’ll support the Studio Manager and Instructor team in helping them bring dream of Codeverse to life for hundreds of kids and parents who enter our studios each week. Your time will be split in supporting the administrative/sales needs of the business and instructing in the classroom. The BEST of both worlds!

More specifically, you will:

During class

  • Bring energy and enthusiasm to get kids excited and ready to learn
  • Ensure a safe and inspirational classroom environment which gives kids the confidence to explore on their own, to break and rebuild, and to learn by doing
  • Encourage kids to test their own ideas, create freely, and share the results with others
  • Use phrases, choreographed movements and rehearsed scripts to direct the class experience and embody the Codeverse brand
  • Work with parents and other instructors to ensure each child’s specific needs are being addressed
  • Diligently follow all processes and protocols as defined by Codeverse

Outside class

  • Assist the studio manager in the onboarding, ongoing training and daily coaching of all members of the studio team
  • Stay abreast of the studio curriculum, and support the delivery of new curriculum and act as a resource to other instructors
  • Anticipate and uncover customers' needs and communicate our ability to address those needs
  • Be a customer experience and sales pro who will assist customers when they first walk into the studio and goes the extra mile to figure out what makes customers tick
  • Be an ambassador for Codeverse who believes in our mission and is always striving to bring more families into our community
  • Keep the studio running smoothly by supporting the studio manager in handling maintenance requests, asset management, and monitoring inventory
  • Support the Studio Manager in various duties and projects as needed to build guarantee success in the studio

Some prior experience with computer science or coding is a plus but is not required as all teachers will be trained on how to use the platform.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is a great cultural fit for the team we’re building. We take our work seriously, but not ourselves.

Compensation and Benefits

Instructing and Customer Experience Managers will be full time employees averaging 35-40+ hours weekly and paid an hourly rate. Bonus and merit options are based on studio performance beyond quarterly and annual expectation. A comprehensive benefits package will also be offered which includes:

Additional Requirements

  • At least 2 years of college completed
  • Must be a US citizen, hold a US Resident Alien card, or possess a valid US work permit
  • Must pass a background check, drug test, and biometric fingerprint
